With the midterm elections largely decided, save for a small number of races, federal gun control legislation that seemed improbable with a Democrat-run Senate looks nearly impossible with a Senate run by Republicans. Republicans’ resounding victory this week pushed federal gun control legislation even further out of reach for proponents of stronger gun regulations.
