Our new Lock Nuts are here!
The LN5s (1/2-28) are now in stock and the remaining LN6s and LN7s (5/8-24 and 9/16-24) will be along shortly (first week of November or so). These lock nuts are designed to minimize stress on your firearm during leveling (clocking) and installation of your muzzle device. In the photo below you can see that when tightening the lock nut and the muzzle device the net torque on the barrel is near zero, unlike shims and crush washers which involve intense torque on the barrel.
Also, the lock nut makes switching muzzle devices very easy. As long as you have two adjustable wrenches you can easily remove or install a muzzle device.
